The Staff Chaplain is responsible for development and implementation of a continuum of pastoral services aimed at meeting the goals and objectives of the department. These services are available to all patients/residents/families and staff. The Chaplain communicates and provides liaison with the religious community. The Chaplain reports to the Director of Quality/ Risk Management. Minimum Education Masters of Divinity degree and at least 4 units of CPE. Preferred board certified chaplain with Association of Professional Chaplains (APC). One year of hospital residency preferred. Required Licenses Maintain ecclesiastical endorsement/ordination credentials with Association of Professional Chaplains recognized regional or national denomination. Required Skills Demonstrated initiative, ability to work with others, and good professional judgment. Ability to work independently and organize time effectively.
