OPERATOR I - WATER DISTRIBUTION
: Job Details :

Duties include, but are not limited to, operation and maintenance of equipment, working with distribution crews repairing/replacing water and assisting in repairing/replacing sewer lines. Position requires after normal business hours, on-call and work on appointed weekends Duties Assist with repairs, projects and preventative maintenance of all machinery and equipment. Maintain and repair water lines; repair and replace water lines due to leaks; lay new water lines as required. Operate pneumatic and hand tools; operate all equipment and trucks; clean and maintain equipment. Must be able to explain and take directions via phone from Supervisor and Warehouse Storekeeper, when necessary for needed repairs Help maintain a parts inventory Must be able to work without supervision; must be able to work on-call . Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
