FLSA: HOURLY, NON-EXEMPT - The Facilities Technician I is a full-time non-exempt employee of The Annenberg Foundation Trust at Sunnylands. The Facilities Technician I reports to the Facilities Supervisor and works in partnership with other Trust employees. This position is responsible for maintaining the estate and visitor center to ensure the land, buildings, infrastructure, furniture, equipment, and completion of fixtures necessary for efficient operations. Work Schedule: Onsite, rotating shifts and weekend work. Available to work additional hours or work an extra shift, on occasion, due to department needs. Assists in the setup and operation of onsite retreats/events. Furniture removal and installation. Equipment set up for catering staff. Clean up and trash removal. Responds to guest requests. Maintains all buildings and structures in proper, working condition. Responds to facilities request forms. Replaces light bulbs. Performs basic plumbing services and repairs.
