Associate Test Technician
: Job Details :

Requires good mechanical skills and the ability to operate shop equipment, bench tools, hand tools, and inspection and test equipment (micrometers, multimeters, and dial indicators). Knowledgeable in the use and application of simple electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Contacts are typically with Test Technicians, other Metrology Technicians, and Test/ Product Engineers. Works under the general direction of the Test Manager, Test Coordinator or Test Engineer. Work is usually reviewed for completeness and accuracy. Constantly engaged with more Senior Technicians in a learning and development environment. Will follow previously created practices and procedures. Minimum two (2) years of demonstrated experience in a manufacturing or shop environment. Principal Accountabilities. Assist with the installation and removal of gas turbines and accessories. Assist with green run and final performance acceptance test of gas turbines. Observe, record, and review test data.
