This position provides overall outreach coordination of the Family Resource Center in Freestone/ Limestone county. This position will oversee the macro and mezzo levels of the Family Resource Center development including community outreach, parents support groups, parenting skills classes, and community coalition coordination. It also promotes prevention of child abuse and neglect public awareness, and child safety and positive parenting education for infants, toddlers and preschool children in Hill County. This position reports directly to the FRC Supervisor. Essential Job Functions. To be knowledgeable of local needs and available services to children 0-5 and their parents. To supervise a Youth Care Provider who provides childcare assistance at FRC events. To provide psychoeducational parent training to equip families in becoming competent in demonstrating these skills with their children through Trust-Based Relational Intervention and Circle of Security Parenting.
