#x 9; Champion safety across all departments and resolve safety issues promptly. Maintain and manage shop equipment and ensure availability. Supervise and direct employees including supervisors, welders, assemblers, and material handlers. Prioritize and manage projects to ensure timely completion. Promote cross-training and workforce development. Guide departmental objectives in quality, safety, and productivity. Participate in scheduling meetings to optimize workflow and downtime. Collaborate with engineering and production teams on workflow and projects. Assist in recruitment and hiring of plant personnel. Support management philosophy and continuous improvement initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Associate or technical degree required; bachelors degree preferred. Minimum 10 years experience managing supervisors and technicians in manufacturing. Welding certification highly desirable. Strong mechanical aptitude and leadership skills.
