Pay Range:$46-$60 per hour

We are seeking a inpatient Physical Therapist to join our hospital team in Valencia, CA! We are a 357-bed, not-for-profit community hospital and trauma center known for our highly respected cancer program, advanced primary stroke center, spine and joint program, an acute rehab unit which helps individuals regain their independence, growing cardiovascular services, outpatient wound care services, highly attentive physical and occupational therapies, and a wide range of inpatient and outpatient surgical services. You will provide direct patient care and support rehabilitation activities. You'llachieve success by:   

  • Reviewingpatientsmedical history 
  • Provide excellent 1:1 care for your patients, spending an average of 40 minutes with each person
  • Diagnosing patients byobservingtheir movements and listening to their concerns 
  • Developing individualized treatment plans forpatients  withclear goals and expected outcomes
  • Using exercises, stretching, equipment, and hands-on manual therapy to manage patients' pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury  
  • Recording patient progress andmodifyingthe plan of care as needed   

Qualifications:   

  • Physical Therapist Licensure in good standing in insert state 
  • CPR and first aid certificationrequired

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and other evidence-based interventions.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
  • Direct and Supervise PT Assistants and/or Aide.
Qualifications:
  • Passion around serving others!
  • AHA BLS required
  • California license as a Physical Therapist or ability to obtain license.
  • Recent graduates and experienced Physical Therapists encouraged to apply.
