If the answer is yes, we invite you to consider joining us in boldly challenging what's possible for a sustainable world.Where is the work: This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed on-site 3 days each week.This Electrical Designer II plays a pivotal role in creating visually stunning 3D and 2D graphics for control projects submitted by our Trane Commercial Field Sales & Service Offices. By leveraging their expertise in digital tools, they help bring our projects to life! While reporting to a Lead Digital Designer, they may also have the opportunity to work within a dynamic sub team led by a Senior Digital Designer.What you will do:
- Produces designs and documentation utilizing computer design and product life cycle management systems.
- Documentation of parts and bills of materials
- Develop a good working knowledge and familiarity of design and drafting standard practices, methods and processes
- Work from oral engineering instructions or written procedures, schematics, drawings and sketches.
- Ability to lead small segments of large projects with responsibility for completion of assignments. Exercise sound judgment in recognition of potential design problems. Detects and corrects own errors.
- Maintains competency level of computer aided graphic system and other applications through company provided training and materials.
- Must be customer driven, innovative and quality minded in performance of all assigned duties.
- Develop and exercise good communication skills.
- Maintains awareness and adheres to all company safety and security policies and procedures.
- May be required to travel to various locations to support products or train other personnel.
- Receives generalized information and instruction pertaining to assignment from engineers or senior staff. Work direction, content and accuracy reviewed by engineers or senior department members.
What you will bring:
- Associate's Degree in Design or Engineering Technology (or related discipline) is required; OR at least 4+ years of work experience using computer aided graphic solutions will be considered in lieu of an Associate's Degree.
- Experience in SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, Pro Engineer or CAD/AutoCAD.
Compensation: Annual Salary Range: $44,300 - $90,200Disclaimer: This pay range is based on US national averages.
