This medical center features a 22-bed department and serves as an important healthcare provider in the MetroWest region. The facility is equipped to handle various psychiatric cases and maintains high standards of patient care with board-certified physicians.

Opportunity:Psychiatry

This is a locum tenens position in a well-established acute psychiatric unit. The role offers exposure to a variety of psychiatric conditions in an inpatient setting with approximately 10-12 patient encounters per shift.

Job Details:

• Start/Duration: September 25, 2025- ongoing
• Work in an acute psychiatric unit/institute
• Typical caseload of 10-12 patients per shift
• Inpatient
• EMR: Cerner
• Opportunity to work with various conditions including anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, eating disorders, development disorders, psychotic disorders, and organic disorders
• Experience with involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and restraint application preferred
• Practice various treatment techniques including pharmacotherapy, group therapy, family therapy, and ECT
• Required certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
• Board certification required
• Active MA License or IMLC

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Paid Travel and Lodging.
