Semiconductor Engineering Process Technician needed for an 18-month contract to hire opportunity with Yoh's client located in Gloucester, MA.Rate per hour depends on experienceEstimated Min Rate: $21.00 Estimated Max Rate: $23.00 What You Need to Bring to the Table: * Have a college degree in Material, electrical, chemistry engineering, or a related field. * Basic data analytics skill * Able to be hands-on for lab operations, including sample handing and equipment operations. * Team player * Semiconductor experience is nice to have, but not a must. * Have 0-2 years of experience Bonus Points! Otherwise Known as Preferred Qualifications: * Ability to work under pressure * Ability to work in team and individually * Knowledge / experience with Semiconductor and SEM metrology tools is a plus The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess: * Solid interpersonal skills * Strong analytical skills * Ability to quickly adapt to change * Must have strong attention to detail * Easily follow detailed instructions * Must be able to work well with others in a cross functional group. * No travel required and training provided What You Will Be Doing: * Supporting Clean Room Metrology Lab operations * Coordinates with engineering on samples priorities * Mounting, dismounting, cleaning and handling customer samples - coupons and wafers * Tracking and maintaining order of the incoming jobs and their execution * Knowledgeably operates laboratory process equipment and instrumentation * Execution of metrology jobs by using developed BKMs and available recipes on SEM metrology tools * Performing analysis of metrology images with company proprietary algorithms and SW, with predefined (available) recipes * Report preparation according to predefined template * Interface with requestors, understand their detail requirement, and communicate on results; help lab on monitoring wafer in process (WIP) and maintaining throughput * Manage wafer logistics for the Demo Lab, Field Applications and Advanced Applications teams. Perform Wafer transfers, particle measurements and wafer shipping * Interface with HW team, HW troubleshooting, execute tool maintenance * Order wafers, manage wafer storages, and keep track of wafer spending.
