About The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented IT Support Technician to become an integral part of our team at our Princeton HQ. In this pivotal role, you will ensure smooth daily IT operations through responsive, hands-on technical support, effective equipment management, and the maintenance of our technology security and stability. You will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact on our operational efficiencies and contribute toward creating a seamless technological experience. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a customer-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and technical support in our office.
  • Manage the deployment, return, and lifecycle of company devices; maintain up-to-date inventory records.
  • Identify and resolve patching issues to keep systems secure and current.
  • Monitor vulnerabilities using security tools and take timely action to remediate them.
  • Deliver reliable in-person support to staff, both in our Princeton headquarters and New York City office.
  • Provide primary support coverage during management absences and collaborate with global IT colleagues.
  • Document support activities, troubleshooting procedures, and resolutions to enhance knowledge sharing and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT support within a professional environment.
  • Proficient in computer hardware, operating systems (Windows and Mac), and common business applications.
  • Experienced in device imaging, software deployment, and endpoint management tools.
  • Familiar with patch management, vulnerability monitoring, and endpoint security solutions.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to solving problems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to assist users of varying technical backgrounds.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and work independently to meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to our NYC office.
