Include (but are not limited to):Promote consistency in risk analysis and reserving approach, and the sharing of claims-trend and industry-trend information with Senior Business Line Management on a cross-Financial Lines portfolio basis. Efficient communication of jurisdictional nuances, event driven litigation, changes in controlling case law, regulatory and legislative changes, and judicial hellholes, to assist underwriting and claims in evaluating risks and drive profitability of the books of business. Act as a subject matter expert in cyber claims, offering specialized guidance and insights to both external and internal stakeholders. Coach and develop claims professionals to ensure they have the knowledge and skills to succeed. Adopt a unified approach to line-specific Large Loss trend analysis. Provide senior leadership with a guided view toward upcoming reserve increases on complex claims act as gatekeeper on significant reserve increases.
