As a Control Room Operator, you will execute the approved plant start-up and shutdown procedures to assure that the facility meets it's operational, environmental, and safety commitments while operating in a safe and environmentally efficient manner. The expected hourly rate for this role is $45.07 Position Responsibilities:Provide guidance to Crane, Auxiliary, and Back Plant Operators to maintain a safe and efficient operation. Effectively monitor Covanta operations systems and have strong working knowledge of boiler, turbine, and auxiliary equipment operations. Experienced in reading blueprints, P&IDs, and schematic specifications. Manage critical events and prioritize tasks for completion at times during emergency, providing clear directions in operational, safety and environmental tasks.
