USPI Aloe Surgical Center is hiring a X-Ray Tech PRN.USPI Aloe Surgical Center is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.Job SummaryThe X-Ray Tech performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by a licensed physician.Required Skills:Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalency.
- Able to read, write, type, and perform calculations at a level generally acquired through completion of high school plus six months or less training beyond high school
- Able to prepare reports and keep records.
- Able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other members of the health care team.
- Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.
- Familiar with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- State Department of Health - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist.
- Basic Life Cardiac Support.
Education and/or Experience:
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiology.
- Currently licensed in the state.
- CPR required, advanced life support certification required.
- One year experience required intra-operative setting.
- Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
- Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.
- Active state license and ARRT license required upon hire.
- American Heart Association BLS certification required
