Job Description :

Company

RxFit isn't your average personal training company—we're the boutique concierge of in-home fitness. Based in Austin, Texas, we combine Corrective Exercise science with longevity-focused strength training to give clients real results without the pain. Our trainers are mobile, charming, and scientifically sharp—traveling to high-rise condos, offices, and homes to deliver elite programming right where our clients need it. We don't just work out—we restore, optimize, and redefine what fitness looks like for high-performing humans.

Our team trains regularly (yes, even the trainers train), so you're always learning, evolving, and staying ahead of the pack. Expect a supportive culture, high expectations, and some serious aesthetic wins—for you and your clients.

Role Description – Functional Personal Trainer (Part-Time, Austin-Based)

Ready to ditch the gym floor grind and level up your career with meaningful, high-impact work? RxFit is hiring a Functional Personal Trainer who blends brains, personality, and purpose. This part-time hybrid role is perfect for someone who thrives in-person with clients but also appreciates the occasional Zoom check-in from their couch. You'll be delivering expert guidance to clients in their homes, condo gyms, or private offices across the Austin metro.

You'll assess, program, and train clients using RxFit's core corrective and longevity methods. You'll teach movement with precision, adapt plans with grace, and make workouts actually fun (or at least sneaky-effective). You'll also provide smart, digestible nutrition coaching—not macro math lectures.

What You'll Do
  • Conduct fitness assessments, mobility screens, and personalized goal-setting sessions
  • Design and implement corrective-based functional training programs that evolve with client needs
  • Travel to client sites across Austin (bonus points if you love city driving and playlists)
  • Track progress, deliver results, and adjust programs as needed
  • Maintain regular, upbeat communication to keep clients engaged and accountable
  • Participate in team trainings and level up your craft with us

Qualifications
  • Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, ACE, ISSA, or equivalent)—corrective-focused certifications a huge plus
  • CPR & First Aid Certified
  • Functional training background with a deep understanding of biomechanics, movement screens, and program design
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a high-accountability, low-handholding environment
  • Reliable transportation within Austin metro
  • Excellent communicator—able to educate, inspire, and make people laugh while sweating
  • Nutrition knowledge and ability to give practical, behavior-based advice
  • Bonus if you hold a degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field

Who You Are
  • A movement nerd with swagger
  • Obsessed with helping clients move and feel better (aesthetics are the cherry, not the sundae)
  • Adaptable, punctual, and polished—you can train a CEO at 6AM without breaking a sweat
  • Always learning, always improving
  • Comfortable talking goals, pain points, and life over a foam roller

Perks
  • Competitive session rates and performance-based incentives
  • Flexible scheduling—train mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on availability
  • Ongoing education and mentorship (no stagnant trainers here)
  • Access to a growing network of elite professionals and high-achieving clients
  • You get to help people transform their lives—and look good doing it

Apply if you're ready to make movement medicine, and look sharp while doing it.
