Reporting to the Director, Global Product Management, you will oversee a segment of the product portfolio that is integral to the company's success. You will be empowered to lead the product management life cycle from research, development and management to ultimately seeing your products developed on the manufacturing floor.
Your days will be fast-paced and varied as you interface with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, R&D and Technical Services to drive product changes and improvements.

About the Role
As the Product Manager, you will be part of the product management team, managing a segment of the portfolio and developing new products manufactured in the U.S.
You will interface with cross functional teams for every stage of the product development process, and thrive in a fast-paced, technical manufacturing environment. Your role will be key in designing, launching, and managing products that align with the company's vision.
Here's more of what you will do:
- Build and maintain product and application knowledge for key market segments.
- Lead lifecycle assessments and strategy recommendations for assigned products.
- Gather and document market needs through collaboration with sales and market research; translate into product requirements.
- Identify portfolio gaps and evaluate revenue, margin, and growth opportunities.
- Analyze competitor offerings to benchmark and inform product strategy.
- Manage stage-gate process for new product development, coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Develop product positioning and pricing strategies in partnership with Sales and Marketing.
- Collaborate with Finance on profit margin and ROI analysis.
- Work with Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, and Technical Service to implement product improvements.
- Support forecasting, raw material planning, and product line efficiency with Operations and Product Planning.
- Coordinate with Sales on pricing, quotes, and custom warranty solutions.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5+ years of experience in product management in manufactured products.
- Experience with new product development process methodology (i.e. stage gate process) to create new products that meet required specifications.
- Analytical and detail oriented, as well as a system and process approach to work.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint and Excel (analysis, pivot tables, vlookups).
- Strong project management skills; lead projects and project teams from concept to completion.
- Enthusiastic self-starter able to work independently as well as part of a team.
