Description:

  • Seeking a personable and highly detail-oriented professional with strong organizational abilities and a commitment to timely task completion.
  • Oversee the daily financial and operational management of both residential and commercial properties, including tenant acquisition and ensuring properties are well-maintained.
  • Foster positive and cooperative relationships with colleagues, tenants, and property owners.
  • Interpret and implement policies related to the management of properties, tenants, and owners.
  • Respond appropriately and professionally to all matters affecting properties.
  • Maintain accountability to property owners, governing agencies, and regulatory bodies.
  • Develop strategic annual management plans and operating budgets to guide property operations.
  • Schedule and coordinate major improvements and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Initiate and oversee special administrative initiatives as needed.
  • Organize and optimize property operations to meet performance expectations.
  • Set performance standards and provide leadership to on-site managers, maintenance teams, and supervisory staff.
  • Offer ongoing support to site personnel responsible for day-to-day operations.
  • Keep property owners informed of critical operational issues and deviations from established plans.
  • Manage income collection and expense control, including tenant receivables and site reporting, to maximize financial performance.
  • Conduct thorough property inspections including building interiors, exteriors, and systems.
  • Ensure all properties remain in compliance with applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with local municipalities and community organizations, as necessary.
  • Implement and manage standard operating procedures across properties.
  • Promote tenant satisfaction through prompt and thorough issue resolution.
  • Prepare timely reports and respond to information requests from owners and stakeholders.
  • Draft correspondence and maintain documentation for all property-related matters.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records and files.
  • Pursue continuing education and participate in industry events and local professional groups.
  • Manage the collections process, including initiating legal action and following through with court proceedings and evictions when necessary.
  • Ensure all lease terms are adhered to by tenants.
  • Conduct property tours for prospective tenants and clearly communicate property features and terms.
  • Process rental applications by verifying employment, income, previous rental history, and other relevant details.
  • Communicate application outcomes to applicants and coordinate move-in/move-out logistics.
  • Prepare lease agreements and related documents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate is trustworthy, adaptable, and able to collaborate effectively with a variety of personality types.
  • Strong interpersonal & business communication skills.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Computer knowledge and competency.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Real Estate License Required, may consider if you have completed Real Estate Courses.
  • Previous Property Management experience required.
