Job Description :

As Senior Event Manager, you are responsible for event documentation and coordination with Sales, hotel departments, and customers to ensure consistent, high-level service throughout the pre-event, event, and post-event phases of all hotel events. This position primarily handles complex events and requires seamless turnover from sales to service and back to sales. You will recognize opportunities to maximize revenue through upselling and enhancements. You serve as the primary contact for the event planner after turnover and are responsible for their experience. You may also support and act on behalf of the Director of Events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize, plan, and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals.
  • Communicate promptly with internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents, or in person.
  • Create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet expectations.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, and processes.
  • Resolve conflicts, negotiate, and handle complaints effectively.
  • Influence and sell to internal and external clients.
  • Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing issues and determining the best solutions.
  • Ensure high-quality service by understanding guest needs, providing guidance, and coaching when necessary.
  • Participate in customer site inspections and support the sales process as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required by business needs.
  • Maintain regular attendance.

    • Qualifications:

    • 1-2 years of event management experience at a managerial level.
    • Knowledge of hotel property management systems (e.g., Delphi.fdc) is advantageous.

    The salary range for this position is $75,000-$82,500, based on experience and location.
