Position Overview:ABC/BE Thoracic Surgeonis sought to help establish and grow a comprehensiveGeneral Thoracic Surgery Programto meet increasing demand. This is an excellent opportunity for adedicated and experiencedsurgeon to take aleadership role, with potential for aMedical Directorposition for the right candidate.
Key Highlights:Full-spectrum General Thoracic Surgery(benign & malignant, excluding transplant)Well-equippedwith aDaVinci Xi robot,18 pulmonary/critical care physicians, and aMulti-Disciplinary Tumor BoardEstablished referral networkwithin the health system and community partnersDedicated APP supportandconsultative hospital serviceEPIC EMR system
Practice Details:Setting:Inpatient, outpatient, and clinic-based practiceSchedule:Monday Friday with weekend call rotationCase Mix:Surgical cases & outpatient visitsGoal:Building a thoracic program to meetunmet demand and community growthTrauma Level:Level II
Candidate Requirements:Experienced providers preferred(new fellowship graduates considered on a case-by-case basis must be BE within 2 years)Strong vision andexcitement to develop a thoracic programCommitted to providingpatient-centered, team-based careNot open to locum, 1099, or visa candidatesCandidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance (1 hour or less)Not open to candidates with lapsed board certification
