Springs Window Fashions is hiring for a Corporate Accounting Manager based in our Madison, WI area Corporate Headquarters.
This is an on-site role with a hybrid work schedule; fully remote is not an option. The successful candidate is expected to be in the company HQ every Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday.

Objectives
Oversee all accounting processes, including month-end close, reviewing monthly reconciliations, formal work reviews, variance analysis, intercompany eliminations, etc.Serve as the liaison between Corporate accounting, business units, and management to ensure transactions are properly recorded and financial statements accurately reflect the company's financial position.Partner with finance personnel domestically and globally, including at subsidiary locations, to ensure timely and accurate close activities.Act as the primary contact for outsourced tax functions, ensuring seamless communication, timely tax services, and compliance with regulations.Coordinate with the insurance broker on policy renewals, coverage, and claims management in line with risk management objectives.Ensure transactions are properly accounted for and financial statements are GAAP-compliant.Build, lead, and mentor the accounting team.Manage cash flow, including forecasting, liquidity monitoring, and working capital optimization.Review operating results analytically to ensure accounting accuracy.Address accounting issues promptly.Prepare and review reconciliations, ensuring timely correction of exceptions.Maintain documentation of processes and update as needed.Coordinate external audits and ensure schedules are completed on time.Implement and maintain controls to ensure the integrity of accounting records.Lead month-end financial reviews and analytics.Identify opportunities to improve reporting and consolidation structures.Manage and enhance accounting software and systems.Support acquisitions and integrations as needed.Conduct accounting research and document findings.Participate in or lead special projects as required.Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- CPA certification strongly preferred.
- 7 years of progressive experience, ideally combining public and corporate accounting.
- Experience with large, multi-entity, complex organizations; manufacturing and international experience preferred.
- Strong technical accounting and research experience; SEC reporting or audit experience preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience, including hiring, performance reviews, and coaching.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software; ERP implementation experience a plus.
- Self-starter with problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative team player with attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, communication, and people management skills.
The annual base salary ranges from $90,000 to $145,000, depending on various factors. The position is also eligible for an annual bonus of 0-15%. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) with up to 5% match, life and disability insurance, paid time off, holidays, and a volunteer day.
