Director of Content Protection for Major Media Company

Duration: 2 Month Assignment until October

Location: Onsite in NYC - Madison Ave

Pay Range: $80-$110 per hour w2

We are seeking a highly motivated Director to join our Content Protection team. This position plays a vital role in combating intellectual property theft and offers a unique opportunity to work on substantive content protection matters. The ideal candidate will have experience in Content Security, Information Security, or related fields, with an interest in the intersection of music, technology, and copyright law.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct security assessments and evaluate whitepapers and technical specifications to ensure partner compliance
• Oversee implementation of pre-release security policies, guidelines, and procedures
• Perform cyber hygiene assessments to identify and remediate vulnerabilities
• Assist in evaluating and promoting secure delivery tools and content management solutions
• Carry out online forensic investigations and support law enforcement and trade representatives in criminal cases
• Evaluate AI technologies and conduct risk assessments
• Update stakeholders regularly on Content Protection issues

Who you are:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification
• Minimum five years of direct or equivalent Information Security experience
• Experience with security audits, risk assessment tools, cloud security, data encryption, and API authentication mechanisms preferred

Compensation:

Estimated Minimum Rate: $80.00

Estimated Maximum Rate: $110.00
