Posting Title: Manufacturing/Production Supervisor

This position has responsibility for the manufacturing operation team in a fast-paced, multi-shift, high mix/low volume environment that produces products using cutting-edge technologies. The Production Supervisor ensures that all products meet contractual quality, cost, and schedule requirements by planning, organizing, and directing the flow of production while maintaining a safe work environment.

The position is responsible for the effective execution of the manufacturing operations strategy, using the available control systems, tools, and metrics to accurately measure progress, identify root causes of failure modes, assess production capacity, resolve quality and staffing issues, and develop/implement corrective action plans.

What You Will Do
  • Schedule and cost accountability.
  • Effectively manage day-to-day assignments for 3-7 employees.
  • Workload planning and forecasting.
  • Employee training and cross-training.
  • Time and attendance tracking.
  • Participate in safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Qualifications You Must Have
    • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
    • Supervisory experience is required.
    Qualifications We Prefer
    • Experience with equipment skid fabrication.
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
    • Previous leadership and management experience in manufacturing or similar environments managing high mix/low volume lines.
    • Experience utilizing business systems and tools to manage labor, processes, and budgets.
