Position Summary

Develops, communicates, and leverages a strategic vision aligned with company market and local plans to direct the management team and associates in facility operations, merchandising, and company direction. Provides supervision and development opportunities for management and hourly associates in a facility facing issues such as high turnover, engagement challenges, inexperienced staff, and recruiting difficulties in a competitive market. Responsibilities include recruitment, training, mentoring, performance evaluation, recognition, and fostering a belonging mindset across organizational levels.

Upholds the company's Open Door Policy by engaging with associates, researching issues, reviewing policies, and ensuring consistent responsiveness and resolution. Ensures compliance with policies, maintains relationships with officials, and oversees asset protection, safety, quality standards, and operational reviews. Leads community outreach programs, manages media relations, and promotes company initiatives to enhance community engagement and facility reputation.

Drives financial performance by achieving sales and profit goals, controlling expenses, and analyzing economic trends. Implements process improvements, manages budgets, and assesses community needs. Ensures customer service excellence and maintains high standards in training environments like the Academy. Develops strategies for workforce attraction, development, and retention, fostering a culture of integrity and ethics.

Builds partnerships, supports community initiatives, and creates a workplace of inclusion and respect. Acts with integrity, prioritizes customer service, and strives for operational excellence through continuous improvement and technological adoption. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of management experience, including financial accountability, and supervising at least 50 associates; or 4 years of management experience with similar supervisory responsibilities. Additional requirements include successful completion of job-specific training and assessments. For firearm-related facilities, background checks and training are required. Effective January 26, 2019, all associates must complete required trainings and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership via Live Better U and Bellevue University, with experience as a Store Manager in a low, medium, or high complexity store, or managing a grocery area in a retail environment.
