Job Description

Growing real estate investment firm seeking a Real Estate Asset Coordinator to support the operations of its commercial real estate portfolio. This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive individual with administrative experience in property management or real estate. You will support multiple internal departments including property management, leasing, and construction.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day operations across leasing, property management, and construction functions
  • Organize and manage electronic records for leases, insurance certificates, tenant files, and project documents
  • Perform local market and demographic research to inform leasing opportunities
  • Prepare and send professional communications to tenants regarding updates, notices, or inquiries
  • Monitor the tenant portal and work order systems, ensuring requests are logged, tracked, and resolved
  • Coordinate vendor appointments for routine maintenance, repairs, and special projects
  • Maintain accurate contact information for tenants, service providers, and stakeholders
  • Contribute to internal reporting by gathering data for performance metrics and KPIs
  • Track project expenses and support budget documentation for capital and tenant improvement work
  • Provide flexible administrative support to ensure smooth property and asset operations

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; focus in business, real estate, or related field preferred
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in an administrative or operational support role
  • Previous work in real estate, commercial property management, or construction admin is a strong plus
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset and professional communication style
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook)
  • Familiarity with Yardi or other property management platforms is beneficial
  • Must have access to reliable transportation for occasional local travel
