Develops, communicates, and leverages a strategic vision aligned with company market and local plans and tactics to direct the management team and associates in facility operations, merchandising, and company direction. Provides supervision and development opportunities for management and hourly associates in a facility facing challenges such as high turnover, engagement issues, and recruiting difficulties in a competitive market. Implements ongoing recruitment, hiring, training, mentoring, succession planning, performance evaluation, recognition, and fostering a sense of belonging across organizational levels.
Upholds the company's Open Door Policy by engaging with associates, researching issues, leveraging resources for complex requests, reviewing policies, and ensuring responsiveness and resolution. Ensures compliance with policies, develops relationships with officials, maintains safety and quality standards, and oversees safety and operational reviews. Participates in community outreach programs, representing the company externally, and fostering community relationships.
Manages financial performance by achieving sales and profit goals, analyzing KPIs, executing process improvements, controlling expenses, and collaborating with market teams. Drives sales through effective merchandising, pricing, inventory management, and sales forecasting. Ensures store standards and training environments are met, fostering a high-performance culture and engaging trainees and associates.
Develops and implements strategies to attract and retain a skilled and engaged workforce, supporting mentorship, succession planning, and leveraging talent capabilities. Cultivates an environment of integrity and ethics, integrating these values into all programs and practices. Builds internal and external partnerships to support business goals and community initiatives.

Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree and 2 years of general management experience, including financial accountability, and 4 years supervising at least 50 nonexempt and 5 exempt associates, with performance management, mentoring, hiring, and termination experience; OR 4 years of general management experience with similar supervisory responsibilities. Additional requirements include successful completion of job-specific trainings and assessments, and compliance with applicable background checks for firearm or ammunition sales where relevant.
Preferred QualificationsBachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership via Live Better U and Bellevue University, experience as a Store Manager in a low or medium complexity store, or 2 years in a high-volume retail store, particularly in running a fresh or dry grocery area.
