With rapid growth comes opportunity. We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our team in Camarillo! This is a full-time, onsite, non-exempt position.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees temporary employee recruitment, hiring and offboarding process; conducts new hire orientation and onboarding for temporary agency employees; collecting/reviewing Temporary New Hire Packets; confirming offer details with hiring managers; data entry in HRIS; uploading required employee personnel files. Facilitates the conversion process to full-time employment if applicable.
  • Weekly management of temporary employee timecards, temporary employee invoicing, reconciliation and liaises with temp agencies with which the company engages.
  • Prepares offer letters that outline terms and conditions of employment, ensuring clarity and accuracy. Initiates pre-employment screenings; tracks the progress of the background checks, ensures timely completion and follows up on outstanding items.
  • Assist recruitment team in department reporting; manages the Employee Referral Program; update job postings on the Careers Page; participate in in-person and virtual recruitment events as needed; coordinate exit interviews.
  • Assists employees with questions related to employment and internal systems, providing excellent customer service to internal (employees) and external (vendors, agencies, etc.) customers.
  • Acts as backup to other HR/Recruiting functions as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with and/or follows all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required and complies with relevant legal mandates. Seeks guidance as necessary.
  • Actively supports and participates in the safety program, both for self-protection and the protection of other employees, by reading and abiding by all requirements in the Safety Manual and Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).
  • Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner.
  • Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Handles various other duties as delegated by Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment Coordination and/or Human Resources administration required that includes the following:
  • Scheduling interviews, posting job ads, dispositioning candidates, experience maintaining Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Working in varied HR disciplines in an assisting or other capacity, including HRIS, Recruitment, Employee Engagement, HR Compliance, filing and data entry.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to recruiting, onboarding, wage & hour and offboarding. Demonstrated ability to effectively interpret applicable laws and regulations.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English required (verbal and written).

Salary Range (applicable to California):

$25.00 - $30.00 DOE

  • Must be able to use discretion and independent judgement
