Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our Asset Management team. In this role, you will maximize the financial performance of the real estate portfolio by delivering accurate, data-driven reporting, proactive analysis, and structured support across budgeting, capital projects, and performance tracking—enabling smart decisions and aligned asset strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Clear, Insightful Portfolio Performance Reports: Each month, you'll compile property-level and portfolio-wide performance data—then present it in a format that's easy to understand and immediately actionable. You'll track budget-to-actual variances, flag anomalies, and explain what's driving performance. Your reporting will not only meet deadlines but help leadership make faster, more informed decisions.
Own Budgeting and Forecasting Cycles: You'll play a key role in building accurate annual budgets and forecasts across the portfolio. That means collaborating with internal stakeholders, ensuring all inputs are current and correct, and producing projections that help us plan for growth, mitigate risks, and optimize operations.
Track Capital Projects with Precision: You'll monitor project budgets, timelines, and spending each month—then produce clear variance reports that explain any overages or delays. This transparency helps us maintain control of project costs and support smooth execution.
Build Financial Models that Support Investment Strategy: You'll support the Asset and Investment teams by creating and maintaining Excel-based models for acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancing scenarios. You'll incorporate cash flow projections, debt assumptions, and scenario analysis.
Deliver Market Research and Benchmarking Insights: You'll regularly gather and analyze market-level data to help us stay competitive. Whether it's tracking rent comps, analyzing occupancy trends, or reporting on economic shifts, your research will inform pricing, leasing strategies, and asset repositioning decisions.
Prepare Professional, Investor-Ready Reports: You'll produce clean, branded reports that meet our internal and external standards. These documents will be reviewed by owners, leadership, and outside stakeholders. You'll also be responsive to investor questions, aiming for a same-day (4-hour) turnaround on most inquiries.
