Job Title: Quality Manager
Salary Range: $115,700.00 To $166,000.00 Annually
Starting Range: $115,700 To $141,000.00 Annually

About the Job:
This role oversees the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the CMC Quality Management System (QMS), and ensures compliance to ISO9001:2015, CE Module D, and any other requirements of international PPE standards.
This role is both strategic and hands-on requiring strong leadership in quality systems, manufacturing quality, supplier quality, product compliance, corrective actions, and certification management. The Quality Manager leads an on-going culture of quality, learning and teamwork, geared specifically to the needs of customers and the long-term sustainability of the business.
What You Do:
- Lead all aspects of the CMC QMS providing support and ensuring commitment to quality from all departments.
- Formulate, maintain and continuously improve all quality control procedures, standards and on-going quality control objectives to assure optimum quality of all CMC products and services.
- Lead internal and external audits (e.g., ISO, CE, regulatory bodies, supplier), ensuring readiness and timely closure of findings.
- Maintain all quality records and documentation in accordance with the quality manual and specific customer requirements.
- Oversee the quality inspection process and team, including the development of sampling plans, quality levels, inspection criteria, and optimal data collection for all products both internal and external.
- Assess and support development of quality processes of external production and suppliers to ensure they meet CMC requirements.
- Perform supplier audits, qualification and provide ongoing performance monitoring / reporting.
- Lead the root cause, corrective action, and continuous improvement programs for all areas of the company.
- Collect data and perform analysis to validate root cause, process validation, process improvement, and inspection processes.
- Oversee the containment and disposition of non-conforming materials and act as the quality representative and voice of the customer for the Materials Review Board.
- Support engineering efforts by participating in design development projects representing quality assurance and the customer.
- Develop, implement and analyze quality KPIs, metrics and reporting tools. Regularly report to management, department leads, and employee owners on quality performance, issues, and trends.
- Support product certification processes and interface with Notified Bodies and test labs.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or related technical field required.
- 7-10 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth experience in the application of the ISO 9000 series Quality Management System and auditing.
- Must have demonstrated mastery of quality tools and processes.
- Advanced statistical skills with excellent proficiency in Excel and other analytical software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills especially in leading problem solving and root cause analysis.
- Proven ability to perform and train others in quality measurement, testing and systems application.
- Experience in Lean manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Statistical Process Control, with Six Sigma Green or Black Belt desired.
- Experience in mechanical design, GD&T, metrology, desired.
