Pay for this position ranges from $35-$45 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include paid vacation and holidays after a 90-day introductory period, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401k with employer match, and a company vehicle with a fuel card.

Minimum Experience Requirements

Candidates should have over 10 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience, including at least 4 years as a foreman, superintendent, or similar supervisory role, managing multiple crews on large or multiple concurrent projects. Leadership experience on projects exceeding $1 million is preferred.

Physical Requirements

Superintendents may need to work alongside crews, requiring physical ability to lift 50+ pounds, work from ladders or scaffolds, overhead, and perform activities involving reaching, stretching, squatting, kneeling, crouching, or bending. Ability to work in varied climates and possess good balance, depth perception, eye-hand coordination, and stamina is essential. Safety and the ability to perform typical tradesperson duties are paramount.

Additional Requirements and Expectations

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Mandatory drug screen and background check
  • Training through apprenticeship, trade, or technical school preferred
  • Relevant licenses and certifications are advantageous
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills necessary
  • Ability to multi-task and work under time constraints

Job Responsibilities and Skills

  • Oversee and manage on-site electrical installations, wiring, systems, controls, equipment, and fixtures
  • Collaborate with project managers and foremen for successful project completion
  • Interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Assist in planning and layout with project teams
  • Interface with clients, contractors, architects, and engineers
  • Mentor and direct foremen and junior leaders
  • Ensure effective use of company reporting systems
  • Act as liaison between project management and site leadership
  • Manage overall project quality assurance and quality control
  • Lead multiple crews of 6-10 personnel and oversee multiple projects
