Sr. Manager, Insurance Accounting - Premium Payables

This position involves overseeing daily operations related to Premium Payables within North America Retail Insurance, ensuring operational accuracy, efficiency, compliance, and driving process improvements. The role reports to the Director, Retail Insurance Accounting, and requires leadership, analytical skills, and collaboration across functions.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing day-to-day operations and month-end close processes.
• Monitoring staff performance and metrics.
• Implementing process improvements and ensuring compliance with GAAP and SOX standards.
• Collaborating with finance departments on reporting and analysis.
• Leading process configuration and review of EPIC agency management system.
• Providing leadership, mentorship, and fostering a high-performance culture.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in leadership.
• Experience in insurance brokerage or related industry accounting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP & Sarbanes Oxley controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Applied Epic preferred.
