FosterThomas is a Human Capital Management firm based in Annapolis, MD, with clients nationwide. We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to process and consult with our clients regarding their payroll needs, specifically related to ADP. This is a great opportunity for professional growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with clients to ensure payroll is processed accurately and timely, with all required reporting delivered.
  • Identify, initiate, and implement continuous process improvement opportunities.
  • Communicate professionally, effectively, timely, and courteously.
  • Be proactive in identifying process improvements, system enhancements, and managing change effectively.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in research and analysis of pay issues; recommend and implement approved solutions for best practices.
  • Ensure end-to-end processes meet policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to ADP as requested.

    • Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5+ years processing payroll with in-depth knowledge of payroll functions, primarily using ADP and Workforce Now.
  • Must have in-depth experience processing payroll.
  • Experience with implementation of new payroll systems is beneficial.
  • Ability to adapt easily to new situations and a consultative attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency with MS Office.
