Are you an experienced leader in hazardous waste or industrial plant operations? We're seeking a Plant Manager to oversee the full spectrum of facility performance—including safety, compliance, and productivity—at a waste processing site in Kansas City, KS. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in regulated, technical environments and is ready to drive operational excellence.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and develop a diverse plant operations team to meet safety, regulatory, and performance targets
• Oversee inbound and outbound waste handling, processing, and shipping functions
• Ensure adherence to environmental, DOT, OSHA, and other compliance standards
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations, inventory, and cost management
• Collaborate with regional leadership to execute site-level strategies and capital projects
• Serve as the site's primary authority on safety, team development, and customer satisfaction

What You Bring:

• 7+ years of experience in hazardous waste, environmental services, manufacturing, or related fields
• Strong leadership background managing cross-functional plant teams
• Familiarity with DOT, RCRA, OSHA, and other federal/state regulations
• Ability to manage budgets, interpret KPIs, and lead change initiatives
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or similar (or equivalent experience)
• 40-hour HAZWOPER preferred; valid driver's license required
