Duties include but are not limited to the pick, inventory, warehouse, and ship function at the Frostproof Florida facility. Responsible for ensuring all raw materials are properly stored and rotated, finished goods are prepared and shipped, and ensure the pick team is effective as well as maintaining accuracy and efficiency standards. Work closely with plant leadership team and operations leadership to drive a culture of employee development and continuous improvement through the warehouse team.

Major Job Functions

This description is general in nature - the duties listed include - but are not inclusive of:

1. Maintain open lines of communication with Logistics and Manufacturing Departments to ensure expected timelines are achieved. Ensure accurate information is entered and maintained in SAP.

2. Oversee third-party off-site warehouse and ensure transfers and customer shipments from third-party warehouse are conducted accurately.

3. Work with Plant Manager to develop, measure, and report out on department specific KPI's

4. Ensure accurate inventory management within SAP

5. Spearhead and implement warehouse related projects such as bin location labels, new racking, SAP configuration etc.

6. Maintain FIFO rotation standards

7. Assist in maintaining all Quality Programs established to comply with FSSC standards

8. Maintain a high level of accountability and integrity throughout the department.

9. Warehousing operations as assigned/needed for business conditions including the ability to operate and train on mobile lift equipment and a yard shuttle.

10. Plan work rotations, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results

11. Communicate with customers, suppliers, employees and transport companies

12. Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements

13. Develop and train staff to be an effective cross-functional team

14. Ensure team is maintaining the outside storage areas in an organized & acceptable manner.

Required Skills/Abilities/Education

· Repetitive lifting and be able to lift 30 lbs.

· Maintain complete, accurate written & electronic records.

· Must possess an associate's degree or equivalent work experience.

· 5 years' experience in a leadership role in a warehouse/distribution environment.

· Satisfactorily pass forklift driving training program or demonstrate safe handling of forklift in an on-site test.

· Must be able to read, write, and speak in English. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks in challenging situations while continuing to fill core responsibilities

· Experience with inventory software, scanning devices is required; SAP experience highly desirable

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This position is a full-time salaried exempt position and has approximately 15 direct reports and would also serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or as agreed upon. Flexibility is required for this position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

This job operates in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is near moving mechanical parts and in high precarious places and is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
