Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed root cause analyses of component failures, including acoustic tests and metallographic analyses.
  • Identify error causes down to the chip level in German and English.
  • Read and verify internal storage components via serial interfaces (I²C, SPI).
  • Validate and inspect storage components (EEPROM, Flash memory).
  • Inspect produced and returned goods for storage errors.
  • Collaborate with other departments to analyze and determine error causes.
  • Create metallographic cross-sections and interpret results.
  • Conduct and analyze acoustic tests.
  • Statistically evaluate and present analysis results; maintain complaint database.
  • Develop and validate automated testing procedures.
  • Develop software adjustments for measurement and control systems (C/C++, LabVIEW, CANoe).
  • Enhance existing testing systems.
  • Implement customer and VDA requirements in testing environments.
  • Support customer audits from a technical perspective.

Qualifications:

  • University degree (FH/BA/University) in Electrical Engineering or related field, Meister/Technician considered.
  • Team-oriented, responsible, independent, with strong analytical and conceptual skills; meticulous and conscientious.
  • Interest in automotive processes; proficient in MS Excel and MS Office.
  • Good German and English language skills, spoken and written.
