Our team is looking for an Engineering Manager to join them. You will report to the Director of Engineering and will have an onsite work structure in Creedmoor, NC.

To be considered for the Engineering Manager opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 5-8 years of experience in aerospace engineering or manufacturing with proven managerial and leadership abilities
  • Proven track record in managing complex engineering/manufacturing or continuous improvement projects and leading high-performing teams
  • Deep knowledge of aerospace systems, materials, and regulatory standards preferred (e.g., AS9100, FAA, EASA)
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

As an Engineering Manager you will:

  • Team Leadership & Development: manage, mentor, and inspire a team of aerospace engineers, fostering a collaborative environment and supporting professional growth. Conduct regular performance reviews, 1 on 1's and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement
  • Project Management: oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of sustainment engineering projects from concept through production. Ensure projects meet key milestones, budget targets, and quality standards while adhering to strict timelines
  • Technical Oversight: review and approve engineering designs and technical documentation to ensure compliance with aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100, FAA, EASA). Provide technical guidance and resolve complex engineering challenges
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: work closely with design, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to optimize product development and manufacturing processes. Act as a liaison between engineering and executive leadership, communicating project progress and technical strategies
  • Process Improvement: identify opportunities for operational and technical process enhancements and lead initiatives to drive continuous improvement. Implement best practices to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality
  • Strategic Planning: collaborate with senior management to develop and execute engineering strategies that align with overall business objectives. Forecast resource needs and manage team capacity to meet current and future project demands
  • Compliance & Regulatory: ensure that all engineering activities comply with relevant aerospace industry regulations and standards. Oversee the implementation of engineering control procedures and risk management protocols

Compensation Pay Range

$110,000- $140,000/year, based on experience
