Job Objective

Process donated goods in the back room of a store or warehouse. Follow all procedures set by The Salvation Army for handling and processing goods. Provide excellent customer service to shoppers and donors. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Handle transactions accurately.

Essential Functions

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise as instructed.
• Track production numbers and report in the assigned location.
• Move priced merchandise to the floor for display and stocking or to the designated shipping area.
• Assist donors with donations, complete receipts, collect donor information, and track donors.
• Sort donations into correct bins.
• Receive trucks, load, unload, and move products to the correct departments.
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces.
• Follow all Salvation Army policies regarding merchandise sales.
• Help keep the floor stocked and put out new merchandise as assigned. Work towards daily production goals. Must be available for a flexible schedule.
