Project Overview:

Project Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced (on-site) Construction Manager for a project at the James R. Browning U.S. Courthouse in San Francisco, CA. Join a team dedicated to making a difference on projects locally and internationally. This role is contingent upon project award.

The project involves overseeing masonry repair and restoration of the historic exterior facades of the courthouse, approximately 480,000 sq ft. Work includes cleaning, patching, repairing, repointing, and replacing masonry elements, focusing on the 7th Street (West) Elevation and three Elevator/Stair Towers. Key tasks include installing temporary access systems, implementing safety measures, and matching repair materials to the historic fabric.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate technical and administrative activities.
  • Interpret and review construction plans and specifications.
  • Assist in design review and contract modifications.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and stakeholder communication.
  • Ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Maintain compliance with federal contracting principles and standards.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in architecture, engineering, or construction.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Experience with projects of similar size and complexity; historic masonry experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of building science, construction methods, and federal/state codes.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Kahua, Microsoft Project, Primavera).
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) and OSHA 30-hour training preferred.
