CONFIDENTIAL SEARCH: VP of Marketing – Cannabis Industry (Missouri-Based)

Location: Missouri (Greater St. Louis preferred). This is NOT a remote role.

Our client, a fast-growing, vertically integrated cannabis company in Missouri, is seeking a Vice President of Marketing to elevate their brand presence and lead the marketing function through its next stage of growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a marketing executive who understands the power of authentic storytelling, elevated in-store experiences, and premium consumer branding. You'll be tasked with shaping the company's identity, building and mentoring a team, and creating high-impact campaigns that drive brand affinity and retail performance.

• Lead the strategic and creative direction of the brand across all consumer touchpoints – digital, in-store, experiential, and more.
• Partner with retail leadership to develop and promote an elevated in-store experience that sets the company apart.
• Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing in-house marketing team.
• Oversee the execution of integrated campaigns that blend community, education, product storytelling, and culture.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, and product teams to drive growth and consistency.
• Require 8+ years of marketing experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven success in Cannabis Industry marketing.
• Deep understanding of retail environments and the role of experiential and sensory branding.
• A blend of creative vision and executional excellence.
• MUST BE based in (or open to relocation to) Missouri.
