We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Director Service Excellence & Professional Leadership Development to join our Human Resources department. Under the direction of the Senior Vice President Chief Human ResourcesOfficer, the Director is responsible for the Service Excellence program, professional and leadership development and non-clinical education for Christian Health. Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates leadership development. Demonstrates an understanding of, and embraces, the mission statement of the Christian Health.
Professional / Leadership Development :
- Leads and manages staff in coordinating center-wide non-clinical education, leadership development and employee events.
- Develops customized training modules based on surveys (including Satisfaction Survey results), staff interviews and organization methodology. Leadership training including coaching, mentoring, supervision, communication skills, motivation, recognition, interviewing, performance evaluation, corrective action, human resources issue1s, risk management, budgeting, and finance.
- Plans, coordinates and facilitates in-services, continuing education and training sessions for Leadership Development Program to existing leaders and all new hires in leadership positions.
- Works with Senior management to identify goals for the organization on employee systems for improvement and works with identified departments to research, design and implement these projects.
- Works with individuals identified in the organization that may need individual leadership training; consults with HR and supervisor as to methodology and individual Performance Improvement indicators.
- Develops and implements mechanism for assessing and monitoring effectiveness of leadership training, both at the time of training and longitudinally to assist in evaluation integration of leadership material.
- Develops levels of leadership certification based on identified needs of the organization.
- Conducts curriculum research including customized organizational surveys evaluating leadership skills and individualized needs of CH's staff.
- Assists in identification of weaknesses or potential problems related to leadership and / or organization systems.
- Oversees Employee Engagement Survey process. Assist Leaders with developing, monitoring action plans.
- Works with leadership to develop and implement train the trainer, preceptor, mentor initiatives.
Service Excellence :
- Chairs the Service Excellence Steering Committee. Works with teams to assist and guide them in furthering the goals of Service Excellence initiative.
Training :
- Develops criteria and methods for prioritizing of training. Utilizes current trends and revises curriculum as needed.
- Oversees the coordination and implementation of general orientation.
- Ensures completion of new employee job specific orientation.
Education : Bachelors degree required. Bachelor's of Arts in adult education, training and organizational development, or psychology preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrates compliance with the CH ASPIRE Standards of Performance.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience of teaching experience in an organization with an adult population.
- Minimum 3-4 years organizational development experience in an organization with an adult population
- Minimum 3-4 years experience in Human Resources systems of accountability.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
