Ferguson Home is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Showroom Manager in our Burlington, MA Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Showroom.

  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm and Saturdays are on a 4-week rotation from 9:30 am - 2:00 pm
  • Reports to the Branch Manager
  • This is an on-site position
  • Direct oversight of 7 associates and will lead the showroom team
Responsibilities
  • Actively leads day-to-day showroom operations and the showroom team to ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.

Facilitate monthly team meetings and monthly 1 on 1 with each associate.

  • Collaborate with the Branch Manager and the Senior Sales Manager as needed.
  • Budget targets and forecast future sales performance.
  • Monitor and analyze revenue growth, margin enhancement, selling behaviors/performance and identify areas of improvement,
  • Maintain and develop a team including hiring, onboarding, mentoring, training, in the moment coaching, setting team/individual goals and expectations
  • Supervise the daily showroom traffic and ensure we maintain the plumbing, lighting, and appliance selections to provide the best customer service experience to our customers.
  • Focus and maintain showroom displays, which includes merchandising, tagging of new displays, updating, and selling off discontinued displays.
  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors, designers, builders, outside sales associates to ensure repeat business.
  • Work closely with vendors and manufacturers to stay updated on product lines and promotions.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure overall satisfaction.
  • Assist customers, both by appointment and walk-ins.
  • Attend industry events and/or meetings to be the representative of Ferguson locally.
  • Assist branch manager in ensuring all safety and compliance standards are met within the showroom.
Qualifications
  • 3 years of prior sales leadership experience is ideal coupled with sales and customer service experience is preferred
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Proven track record to build and implement process improvement / efficiencies
  • Ability to initiate and embrace change, mentoring skills and desire to train others
  • Ability to work across department lines, manage time and people
  • Must have outstanding communication skills; verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Solid organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in POS systems, and Microsoft office, CRM software is a plus
  • Ability to listen optimally to address problems, anticipate issues and make effective decisions
  • Strong customer service and sales skills with a consultative approach.
  • Experience in plumbing fixtures, lighting and/or appliance retail sales is a plus
  • The ability to take care of a vast array of customers with varying levels of product knowledge

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
