10538 – Manager, Network (Network Service Manager)

PURPOSE
The Network Services Manager is responsible for providing leadership to HCA's IT Network Services team with the goal of delivering excellent support across the organization. They will oversee 24x7 operations across HCA's environments and manage the maintenance of HCA's Cisco ACI SDN LAN/WAN routing and switching, Palo Alto firewalls, and F5 load balancing systems. The role includes managing managed services partnerships to extend capabilities and service hours, and delivering ITIL lifecycle processes including Service Design, Service Transition, and Service Operation.
Location – Irvine, CA, 5 days onsite
Essential Functions
- Manage, coach, and support the Network Services team in a 24x7 environment.
- Respond to escalated issues, participate in troubleshooting, and interact with users to resolve IT-related issues.
- Develop RCAs and risk acceptance agreements; drive continuous process improvements.
- Manage production environments, ensuring consistent service delivery and operational excellence through monitoring, automation, and best practices.
- Report on SLA achievement and MSA compliance.
- Establish strategies, priorities, and plans for the team; forecast operational support needs.
- Support enterprise data center, campus, and cloud network infrastructure.
- Identify opportunities for proactive system and application monitoring and implement best practices.
- Oversee network security operations, including vulnerability management, patching, and system hardening, in accordance with HCA security policies.
- Manage audit findings, mitigations, and remediations following HCA Internal Audit guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT/IS or equivalent experience in IT Network Services.
- Minimum 5 years of management experience or 2 years of Program Management experience.
Certifications
- Cisco CCNP preferred
- Palo Alto PCNSA preferred
- F5 Certified Technology Specialist or Certified Administrator preferred
Salary Range: $118,650 - $182,710
