POSITION SUMMARY: This leadership position is responsible for overseeing a community-focused organization in Enterprise. This organization provides a wide array of programs to the community.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in human services, business, social services, or a related field.Five or more years of professional experience in nonprofit management or community-based organizations preferred.Proven experience in operations management, including staff development, program oversight, membership strategy, volunteer engagement, facility operations, and financial management.Passion for community service and understanding of the organization's mission and impact.Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.Demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet goals.Relevant professional certifications are a plus.Residency in the local community is required.Experience in membership growth and active older adult programming preferred.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Leads branch operations and supervises the leadership team to ensure sound performance across departments. Models strong relationship-building skills with staff, volunteers, members, and the community.Oversees the Membership department, including staffing, goal-setting, and implementing retention and acquisition strategies.Directs and supervises all facility and property maintenance to ensure safety, service quality, and compliance with organizational standards.Guides the development and coordination of branch boards and committees, including oversight of volunteer engagement in both policy and program roles.Develops, manages, and monitors operating budgets and consistently meets or exceeds financial targets.Continuously evaluates key performance indicators and supports organizational growth through program expansion, member recruitment and retention, pricing strategies, and community partnerships.Leads efforts to meet or exceed goals for annual and capital fundraising campaigns.Provides leadership to internal planning groups and executive committees as needed.Manages the hiring, training, and supervision of branch staff.Identifies opportunities for new programming aligned with the organization's goals and collaborates with staff to plan and implement these initiatives.Fosters a culture of innovation by developing and launching new, member-focused programs.Builds and maintains strong community relationships, including with local schools, churches, homeowner associations, civic organizations, and others.Promotes a member-focused culture that supports membership growth and retention.Performs additional related duties as required or assigned.CORE COMPETENCIES:
