COMPENSATION

$100-$125K/yr (BOE)

JOB SUMMARY

The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing plant activities to meet business objectives. This individual will be accountable for all aspects of plant performance, ensuring objectives are attained in a cost-effective manner consistent with quality standards. The PM will delegate authority to key supervisors in production, manage all related functions, and coordinate operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the overall safety and efficiency of the facility.
  • Oversee daily facility operations led by the Operations Manager.
  • Supervise staff activity and performance at all levels.
  • Foster a team culture focused on trust and employee development.
  • Mentor and coach the Plant Operations Manager for succession planning.
  • Analyze and utilize financial statements to achieve plant budget goals.
  • Test and monitor plant processes to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Develop long-term strategic objectives for continuous process improvement.
  • Control costs to meet plant budget goals.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

    • Education and/or Experience: Minimum five (5) years of plant operations leadership experience and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Engineering, etc.).
    • Skills: Ability to develop safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic and use measuring devices.
    • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
    • Computer Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office software.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Lean/Six Sigma experience.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    Employees are regularly required to stand, walk, talk, or hear. Frequent use of hands for handling or feeling; reaching with hands and arms; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
