Job Details

The successful Field Superintendent will provide on-site administrative and technical management of related activities, including planning, organization, direction, coordination, and control for all field personnel, supporting the company's profit and growth objectives.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operations on construction sites
• Monitor short-term schedules
• Support hiring processes
• Coordinate quality control and work with other trades
• Train, manage, and evaluate project team members
• Assist Project Manager with construction schedules
• Create daily manpower schedules
• Maintain reports, safety, and accident records
• Coordinate with other trades and general contractors to resolve conflicts
• Organize and direct production according to scope of work
• Oversee quality assurance and control programs
• Work with Purchasing to expedite materials
• Ensure installations meet quality and code standards
• Report project priorities and issues to Project Manager
• Develop field employees through training and coaching
• Handle employee counseling and documentation
• Ensure compliance with NEC, codes, and drawings
• Conduct performance reviews
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements

• Active Journeyman's or Master's License
• Ability to learn estimating processes
• Safety-mindedness
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
• Experience with Accubid is a plus
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Customer service skills
• Willingness to travel as needed

This role involves physical work, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions. Personal protective equipment must be worn at all times. The position requires working 8-10 hours daily, including overtime and night shifts, with physical demands such as crawling, standing, and repetitive hand use.
