We are seeking a dynamic and servant-minded Regional Director of Operations to lead and oversee multiple practice locations within a designated region. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, financial performance, and an exceptional patient and team experience.

As a strategic leader, you will collaborate closely with clinical and operational teams to uphold the organization's mission and values, ensure compliance, optimize practice performance, and foster a culture of trust, accountability, and growth.

This role will be responsible for

  • Leading and managing regional practice operations, ensuring performance meets or exceeds benchmarks
  • Overseeing recruitment, hiring, training, performance management, and staff development across the region
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clinical teams, fostering trust and collaboration
  • Driving operational efficiency, productivity, and expense management using data-driven insights
  • Diagnosing and resolving practice-level operational issues while leveraging team strengths
  • Creating and executing regional business plans in partnership with clinical and leadership teams
  • Ensuring best-in-class patient experience, addressing patient concerns promptly, and monitoring feedback channels
  • Championing a culture of compliance, maintaining HIPAA, OSHA, and patient safety standards
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, HR, Marketing, Revenue Cycle) to support practice needs
  • Leading regional meetings, communications, and initiatives to align teams with organizational goals

Expectations will include

  • Achieving regional operational and financial goals, including revenue growth and EBITDA targets
  • Meeting or exceeding Net Promoter Score (NPS) and employee engagement (eNPS) goals
  • Reducing employee turnover while maintaining strong engagement and retention plans
  • Leading practices to execute strategic growth plans and contribute to overall enterprise growth
  • Ensuring practices maintain scheduling efficiency, facility readiness, and inventory needs
  • Anticipating and addressing talent acquisition needs, including provider recruitment
  • Maintaining consistent communication and engagement through regular meetings, touchpoints, and team development sessions
  • Acting as a positive ambassador for the organization in the community, practices, and hospitals

A qualified candidate will possess the following

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or 10+ years of multi-site healthcare leadership experience
  • 2–5 years in physician practice management or similar healthcare leadership roles
  • Strong ability to lead, mentor, and influence large teams (100+ employees)
  • Proven expertise in operational and financial management, including P&L oversight
  • Ability to read and interpret data to create actionable business plans that drive results
  • Clinical background or healthcare operational experience strongly preferred
  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across diverse teams, fostering a results-driven, team-oriented environment
  • Willingness to travel 50% or more to regional practice locations
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a commitment to excellence in patient care

Compensation: Compensation will be a combination of base and bonus and will be commensurate with skills and experience.

Desired Location: We are looking for a candidate in Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee or Georgia

*Candidates must be eligible to work in the US as well as meet the qualifications listed above in order to be considered for the Regional Director of Operations job.
