Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Associate AD for External Relations and Strategic Initiatives, this position will be responsible for developing and implementing data collection strategies to gather relevant metrics and performance indicators from various sources. Using statistical software, visualization tools, and advanced analytics techniques, will analyze data to uncover insights and trends that can be translated into actionable recommendations.Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and implement data collection strategies to gather relevant metrics and performance indicators.
  • Analyze data using statistical software, visualization tools, and advanced analytics techniques.
  • Collaborate with coaches, players, and administrators to understand data needs and translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop data-driven strategies to optimize team performance, player development, and organizational processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in sports analytics and technology.
  • Historical research and comparative data analysis with conference schools and peer institutions.
  • Works closely with the Senior Associate AD and coaching staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements

Preferred Education and/or Experience Qualifications

  • Ability to use multiple relevant platforms in multiple sports.
  • Ability to find, evaluate, and analyze data and metrics from international platforms, leagues, and rosters.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL , Python, or other applicable programs)
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
