Registration Clerk - Emergency Room (ER) or Outpatient Orange, CA and Fullerton, CA Locations Schedule: See shift options below (Full-time and part-time available) About the RoleJoin a fast-paced, high-impact team in the ER where you'll be the first point of contact for patients in critical need. As a Registration Clerk, you'll play a vital role in patient intake, insurance verification, and supporting emergency medical staff.What You'll DoGreet and register patients in the ERCollect and verify insurance and personal informationNavigate different registration workflows (e.g., uninsured, out-of-state)Collaborate with nurses, physicians, EMTs, and firefightersPush mobile computer stations and remain on your feet for extended periodsMaintain professionalism and empathy in high-stress situationsTraining & Support12-day onboarding: 1 day classroom + 11 days hands-on shadowingAccess to job aids and SharePoint resourcesOngoing performance feedback and knowledge checksWhat We're Looking ForStrong customer service skills and punctualityCompassionate, team-oriented, and eager to learnComfortable in a trauma center environment (blood, critical cases, 5150 patients)Ability to multitask in a chaotic, fast-moving ER setting Available Shifts St. Jude Medical Center - FullertonPart-Time (Weekends)Shift Start: Between 4:00 AM and 11:00 AMSt. Joseph Hospital - OrangeOutpatient Department (Monday-Saturday)Shift Starts Between 5:30 AM and 9:30 AM | Duration: 8 hoursSt. Joseph Hospital - OrangeNight ShiftShift Starts Between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM | Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts (4x10s)Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
