As a Body Shop Manager, you will be responsible for managing a paint and body shop that specializes in repairing and refurbishing recreational vehicles (RVs). You will be responsible for ensuring that all repair and paint work is done to the highest standard, and that all customers are satisfied with the work performed. You will also be responsible for managing a team of technicians and support staff, scheduling work, and ensuring that all materials and equipment are available when needed.The Las Vegas Paint and Body Manager role is a base plus commission role with average earnings between $125,000 and $150,000 annually.The work schedule for this role is Monday – Friday 8am-5pm (Occasional Weekends)Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the paint and body shop
  • Manage a team of Advisor's, technicians and support staff, ensuring that they are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties
  • Develop and maintain a schedule for all repair and paint work, ensuring that work is completed on time and within budget
  • Work with customers to assess their needs and provide accurate estimates for repair and paint work
  • Ensure that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality, and that all customers are satisfied with the work performed
  • Partner and maintain positive relationships with vendors, insurance and warranty companies
  • Manage inventory levels for materials and supplies, and place orders as needed
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, and ensure that all safety protocols are followed
  • Maintain other duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications:
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in a management role in a paint and body shop
  • Extensive knowledge of RV repair and paint work
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a team of Advisor's, technicians and support staff
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
Working Conditions:
  • Work is primarily conducted on-site at the service shop
  • May require extended periods of standing, walking, and bending
  • May require lifting or moving heavy equipment or objects
  • May require working in tight spaces or at heights
  • May require exposure to loud noises, fumes, or chemicals
  • May require working weekends or holidays
