The Town of Vail is now hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator II Hiring Range: $30.58 - $38.23 per hour. Full Salary Range: $30.58 - $45.88 per hour The Town of Vail is now hiring a motivated & experienced Heavy Equipment Operator II. Responsibilities include operation of a variety of light, medium, and heavy weight public works vehicles and equipment to perform street construction and repair, structure construction and snow removal. During the winter season this position focuses on snowplowing and snow removal with a loader. This requires a regular call in schedule, early mornings and day shifts. In addition, the position may be assigned to any functional area in Public Works as needed on a daily basis. Heavy Equipment Operator II duties include, but are not limited to: Performs skilled work in operating heavy equipment, which will include a snow plows, as well as various motor graders, bulldozers, backhoes, front-end loaders, trucks with trailers, and other related equipment.
