Job Description & Requirements**Job Title: Night Shift Emergency Room Nurse (3x12-Hour)****Location:** New York**Shift:** Night (19:00 - 07:00)**Job Description:**We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Nurse to join our team for a night shift position in a Short Term Acute Care facility. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, primarily during night hours. **Key Responsibilities:**- Deliver exceptional care to patients in the Emergency Department, managing a patient ratio of 6:1.- Utilize advanced skills in blood product administration, central line care/management, and emergency medications.- Perform vital procedures, including obtaining 12-lead EKGs, starting IVs, and procedural sedation administration.- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary support teams, including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Rapid Response Teams, and more.- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic charting system.- Support patients across a diverse age range including neonates, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics.**Qualifications:**- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Emergency Room Nurse.- Previous charge experience preferred.- Certification in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS.- Proficient in managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure and interpreting dysrhythmias.- New York state nursing license required.- Experience in community hospital settings is preferred.- Must be willing to float to different units as needed based on census demands.**Unit Details:**- Daily census around 64 with approximately 145 visits per day.- 34 rooms and 71 beds available for patient care.**Why Join Us?**At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
